One evening, a book I hadn't looked at in a while—STORMS by Mitch Dobrowner—caught my eye. Flipping through its incredible images, I was instantly inspired. Just then, I heard the distant rumble of thunder and knew I had to get a shot. I grabbed my trusty old camera but was in such a rush that I forgot my tripod! Ended up balancing on the roof of my van in the howling wind, trying to stay steady with a moon boot on while the lightning crept closer and closer. Somehow, I managed to capture one shot—beyond stoked! Hope you like it.
